About The Band:

SNB 80’s Tribute was co-founded in 2004 by two former members of rival bands from Cochrane High School, home of the Cobras. The Cochrane boys dragged out the guitars and amps from their parents’ basements, and then recruited some of Calgary’s most talented musicians along the way to form the best 80’s “supergroup” since Asia and Journey. For over 15 years, SNB has been rocking the house at bars and celebrations across Southern Alberta. We offer the most diverse setlist of any 80’s cover band, engineered to keep your guests dancing all night long. Cameos and requests are welcomed. For private parties, SNB can also provide DJ services in between the live sets to satisfy all of your musical needs.

Turbo, Lead Guitar / Vocals

Ground control to Major Tom, Turbo has landed. Raised in Cochrane, Alberta but born on a different planet, Turbo has an axe (or two) to grind with you. He changes guitars more frequently than his undies, and his face melting solos of 80’s classics including My Sharona, Turnin’ Japanese, and Tainted Love will truly rock your galaxy.

Zebra, Guitar / Vocals

Welcome to the jungle, you animals! Named in honor of the spandex that has made him an 80’s cover band legend (at least in his own mind), Zebra pays tribute to his animal ancestry with outrageous renditions of Tommy Tutone, Devo, Cheap Trick, and the J. Geils Band.

Dirty Ginö, Bass Guitar / Vocals

Got a problem with your life? Call Dirty Ginö. Professional lifecoach by day, bass guitar god by night, Dirty Ginö will cure all that ails you with his soothing renditions of the best 80’s music you grew up with including Billy Idol, the Cure, the Clash and other timeless classics. Nikki Nixx, Vocals

Nikki rocks the house with spectacular vocal renditions of timeless 80’s classics from Blondie, Madonna, Pat Benatar, Katrina and the Waves, The B-52’s, Fleetwood Mac and more!

White Lion

SNB’s newest bandmate and powerhouse drummer, White Lion brings a ferocious 80’s energy, channeling the spirit of the decade with every beat. Born in the jungles of Venezuela, “El León Blanco” has a style as wild and untamed as his name suggests. Formerly in a Toronto-based, Guns ‘n Roses tribute band, White Lion plays with precision and passion, making him the perfect addition to SNB’s retro lineup. From epic anthems to classic ballads, White Lion keeps the rhythm pounding and the crowd on their feet all night long.

Sham Rock

Introducing Sham Rock: Hailing from the land of U2, Van Morrison, Thin Lizzy, and The Cranberries, this charismatic lead singer serves up award-winning vocals with a wee side of cheeky Irish charm. Serving double-duty as our backup drummer, his true magic lies in transforming 80’s classics into electrifying, modern anthems that leave the crowd begging for more. Prepare to be sham-rocked by a performance as memorable as a lovely pint of Guinness on a misty Dublin day!
